Lake manatee has paved roads for campers up until you actually reach your camping spot.. so we're good there if you guys want to camp.

Okay, Lake manatee has quite a few sites available for that Friday and Saturday. I'll make another thread asking who is coming and staying Friday night and who is just staying Saturday night. Also, there are only 2 cars allowed per site and a maximum number of 8 people. So if you are going to be riding with someone, let me know so I can get an idea of how many sites to get. There is a general parking lot at the entrance that we will be able to park excess cars at overnight...some people just may not be able to have their cars at the site so try not to be the person who forgot a tent and needs to sleep in his/her car.

This is just tentative so people can get a better idea of what they want to do.

is anyone SERIOUSLY opposed to camping? I want everyone to stay at the same place...so if we end up camping I would prefer if everyone camped with us.

a hotel split between a max of 4 people or two people really isn't that bad...it just depends on how cozy everyone feels like getting...

Well I mean two people can sleep in the same queen size bed or 4 people to a room with 2 air mattresses and two people on each bed. Or 3 people to a room with one person on an air mattress/floor and two in each bed...you can see the countless possibilities here.

Bear in mind that in October it is going to be nice outside, and it hardly rains in the fall. I think we'd be able to sleep very comfortably.

A camping trip would save a lot of money and it would be a shit ton of fun. Hopefully ya'll aren't voting no just because of what happened last time.
