Help, need advice, H23 swap starting tomorrow
I've been driving an f22 for about 4 years now, yeah I know too damn long. Met up with a guy that has a [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] with an H23, and he wants to swap me out straight up. He plans on putting a turbo on a f22 and wants mine. My question to you all is this, would he have had to do anything out of the ordinary to get the h23 into his civic that might mess with putting it back into a lude? Also I've found tons of posts on f22-h22 swaps but not on f22-h23. Should I go ahead and just swap out wiring harnesses as well? I've read that f22 harness doesn't reach some connections all the way? Also he has a fuel rail on it as well but may want to keep it, are these direct swaps, I'm pretty sure they are but I just want to make sure!

Yeah, it'll swap right over. And as long as its not H2B the block is untouched. You'll probably need his ECU though.

Thanks Justin
! Just wasn't sure if he had to modify anything to fit it into his civic. How's Florida, I miss it. Just moved back home to KY and I miss the parts pool you all have in FL.

Yeah, thanks for the correction Daph, iits Justin, but its cool.
FL is okay...its still obnoxiously hot, but I have actually amassed my own parts pool these days, its ridiculous. |
